4-Week Pottery Taster Course

£120 per person, each class is 2 hours.

Sunday mornings 10.30am-12.30pm

Learn the full journey of pottery - from raw clay to finished piece - in a warm, welcoming studio environment.

Over four creative weeks, you’ll explore a range of essential pottery techniques through fun, hands-on projects, with expert guidance every step of the way. During the fourth week, you’ll focus on the glazing process and glaze the pieces you’ve crafted.

Weeks 1–3:

  • Introduction to key pottery skills: hand-building, wheel throwing, and surface decoration

  • Watch live demonstrations by our experienced tutor Pascal

  • Get stuck in with practical, playful exercises designed to build your confidence

Week 4:

  • Focus on the glazing process

  • Learn how to glaze and finish the pieces you created in the earlier sessions

Who It’s For:

Absolute beginners or those with a little clay experience who want to build skills, try new techniques, and take home beautiful finished work.

Wear comfy clothes you don’t mind getting messy in.

Your finished, glazed pieces will be ready to collect around 30 days after your final session.

In the event of non-attendance or arriving late to classes it is not possible to provide alternative studio time, or for a class to be rescheduled.*

Please ensure you can make all of the classes before booking. We cannot swap your days once you have booked in.
