4-Week Beginner Pottery Taster Course
Join us for a comprehensive 4 week journey from raw clay to finished ceramics in our welcoming Manchester studio. This taster is designed to give you a bit of everything, guided by the expert eye of our tutor, Pascal.
It’s a relaxed, creative way to build your confidence and explore both traditional and modern techniques.
What we’ll be getting into:
Weeks 1–3 (Making): You’ll dive into the ancient art of coil pottery, learn to create structured plates with slab building, and get your first real taste of throwing on the pottery wheel.
Week 4 (Glazing): A dedicated session where you’ll learn how to finish, colour, and seal your creations so they're ready for functional use at home.
The value: Your course price includes all materials and the professional firing and glazing of 4 of your original pieces to take home. Your finished work will be ready to collect after 30 days of the course ending.

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy! We are a dog-friendly space, so our studio dogs will likely be around to welcome you.
This is perfect for absolute beginners or anyone looking for a friendly, structured introduction to the craft.
As this is a set 4-week curriculum, please make sure you can attend all the Sunday sessions as we can't offer make-up classes or date swaps.
