Coloured Clay Inlay Workshop
Group size: 1–10 participants
Decorative hand-built forms using coloured clay inlay
Finished pieces are clear glazed to highlight the coloured design
Each participant has their own wheel for the full session
Introduction to basic throwing skills and making a simple pot
Includes firing and clear glazing of one pot per person
Coil-Built Vases & Planters (Terracotta)
Group size: 1–20 participants
Large-scale coil-built vases or planters
Made in terracotta clay and fired without glaze, resulting in a natural orange terracotta finish
Our dedicated specialist tutor will introduce the techniques of throwing pots on the pottery wheel.
Have fun trying out this very tricky and specialist skill, and make your own wonky pots!
Pinch Pot Sculptures (Portraits & Animals)

How it works:

Dates will be confirmed with studio managers.
Pay for your session here or via our shop.
Voila - you are scheduled!
Minimum booking fee: £360
This is equivalent to 6 participants and is charged regardless of final group size.
£60 per additional participant above the minimum.
The minimum booking fee is payable in advance to secure the date.
Final participant numbers and any balance are confirmed and paid prior to or on the day of the session.
Smaller groups (fewer than 6 people) are welcome but are charged at the minimum rate.
Private Classes — Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
General Principles
• All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be made in writing (email).
• Once payment has been made, a binding agreement is formed and cancellations are subject to the terms below.
Cancellation by Customer
• More than 14 days before the booked session:
– We will offer a full refund (minus any non-refundable admin fee, if chosen).
– Or offer a reschedule to another available date without penalty.
• Between 7–14 days before the session:
– Booking can be rescheduled subject to availability.
– 50% of the total fee is non-refundable to cover lost opportunity and admin.
• Less than 7 days before the session or no-show:
– The session fee is non-refundable.
– If the customer finds a replacement group of equivalent size, we may transfer the booking to them (notify us in writing).
Cancellation by Studio
• If the studio must cancel (e.g., tutor illness or other unforeseen circumstances), customers are offered:
– A full refund, or
– A rescheduled date that works for the group.
Substitutions
• Customers may nominate a replacement participant for an attendee up to the booked number by email notice before the session.
Late Changes to Numbers
• Final participant numbers must be confirmed at least 7 days before the session.
• Any changes after that date may not be accommodated for scheduling and materials preparation.
