Terms & Conditions…

We bring our dogs to work with us in the studio during classes, please check if that is suitable before booking as we cannot make alternative arrangements (our dogs are our kids!)

Classes & workshops:

Non-attendance:

In the event of non-attendance or arriving late to classes it is not possible to provide alternative studio time, or for a class to be rescheduled.

Classes are at fixed times to cover the cost of tuition. We run at full capacity so it is not possible to swap classes or use the studio outside of the allotted class times to catch up.

We do offer weekly student Drop In sessions for you to use to catch up on work or gain more practice, these are bookable via our website here. These are for current students only, but past students may use 1 session to complete any outstanding work.

Refunds:

Refunds will only be issued up to 14 days before your course starts (minus a £10 admin fee). After this period, if you cannot make the class your course fee will be retained as we will be unable to fill your space. You may transfer your booking to another person at no cost, please let us know if someone else is taking your place.

Group bookings/private parties: Changes in group size can be made up to 1 week before the session by email us, and we can refund* any cancelled places or invoice for extra places when notified. 14 days notice is required to cancel your session and receive a full refund*, or to reschedule to another date. 7 days notice is required to cancel your session and receive a part-refund* of 50%. Any cancellations made less than 7 days before the session will not be eligible for a refund. All changes to bookings will incur a £5 admin fee.

Clay / glaze / firing costs:

Taster sessions: extra pots made in these sessions can be white-glaze fired at a cost of £3 per small pot, £5 per medium pot, £8 per large pot.

Private sessions / hires: Unless stated otherwise materials and firing costs are included in the cost of hire. We fire between 2-4 pieces per person which will be ready to collect from the studio approximately 3-4 weeks after the session.

Collecting work:

See our open times page for collection times

Your pots will be ready to collect 4 weeks after you made them, from which you have 4 weeks to collect them.

After this time your work will be disposed of.

We cannot guarantee that work won’t be damaged in the kiln or survive the firing process.

Any work damaged during the firing process is not the responsibility of 7 Spot Pottery and any work remaining in the studio after the above cut off times will be disposed of as we see fit.
