1 Day Intensive Throwing Course

1-Day Intensive Pottery Throwing Course: Cups, Bowls & Plates

Spend a full day at the wheel learning to throw your own set of functional pottery: cups, bowls, and plates, in this hands-on intensive course.

Designed for beginners and improvers, you'll be guided through the essentials of throwing and finishing pots without trimming.

By the end of the day, you’ll have made multiple pieces and can choose your favourite cup, bowl, and plate to be professionally fired and glazed.

A focused, practical introduction to working confidently on the wheel.

Practical information:

Wear comfy clothes you don’t mind getting messy in, cut nails short and tie long hair back.

Please bring a packed lunch, or we are a short walk away from a small Co-op or 12 mins walk to Banyan Tree bistro in Castlefield.

Hot and cold drinks will be provided.

Your finished, glazed pieces will be ready to collect around 30 days after your final session.

In the event of non-attendance or arriving late to classes it is not possible to provide alternative studio time, or for a class to be rescheduled.*

Please ensure you can make all of the classes before booking. We cannot swap your days once you have booked in.
