We move beyond "off-the-shelf" products to give you a professional understanding of Glaze Theory, UMF (Unity Molecular Formula), and Stull Charts.

Led by practising ceramic artist Pascal Nichols, this is a deep dive into the materials that bring your work to life.

  • The Formulation: Hands-on guidance in reading recipes and mixing a base glaze from scratch.

  • The Color: Creating "color runs" and line blends using oxides, opacifiers, and stains.

  • The Analysis: Learn to read your test tiles to troubleshoot and refine your results.
