Membership Requirements
Take a class or workshop with us before applying, with few exceptions.
Be part of the 7 Spot community and engage kindly with staff, students, other members, and visitors.
Acceptance of members is at 7 Spot Pottery’s discretion, we reserve the right to terminate any membership if any of our studio expectations aren’t met.
Membership Benefits
Cost: £100 per month, paid quarterly via Stripe.
Access: Unlimited during opening hours, arranged weekly via group message. Use the studio as much as you like, no need to book ahead.
Materials: Includes 1 bag of clay per quarter, all glazes, and firings (additional bags available for purchase).
Clays Available: Red, white, or buff studio clay (or half bags of either).
Access Times (term time):
Mon-Thurs 1-9pm
Saturday: 10-4pm
Sunday: 10-7pm
Exact times posted weekly in the group message.
Studio Facilities
Personal shelf for tools, communal shelving for WIP and bisque.
Free Wi-Fi and access to the MQ kitchenette.
10% off intensive courses, workshops, and masterclasses.
Members hangouts, group activities, and technical support.
Members WhatsApp group for clay bantz.
Dedicated members room with table space, 2 wheels, sink, and shelving.
Usage Guidelines
Share wheel time when necessary and use wheels in the teaching studio if available.
Access to full studio equipment at all times.
Clean up all floors, surfaces, and equipment after use - this is non-negotiable.
Extra clay available at £25 per half bag. Speak to us if you wish to use externally bought clay.
Wild clay cannot be fired due to risks to our kiln and equipment.
Self made glazes, ash glazes etc can be fired at managers discretion.
Membership Policies
Sessions run through holidays with at least 2 weekday and 2 weekend sessions consistently scheduled.
Extra sessions scheduled ad-hoc based on private bookings and staff availability.
Cancel recurring quarterly payments anytime. Access ends at the quarter's end, and your shelf must be cleared by then.
Membership is not suitable for production-level quantities due to space restrictions. Max of 2 bags of clay per quarter, and flatware production is limited to 2 pieces per session.
