Course Overview

Spend two days mastering the complete pottery process. This fast-track, hands-on weekend takes you from raw clay to decorated, finished stoneware under expert guidance.

Day 1: Throwing

  • Centering & Pulling: Master the wheel fundamentals.

  • Form Shaping: Learn to throw consistent cups, bowls, and plates.

Day 2: Trimming & Decorating

  • Trimming: Refine the bases and shapes of your day-one pots.

  • Slip Decoration: Apply coloured liquid clay to add unique patterns and designs.

Other info!

  • Collection: Your finished pieces will be fired, glazed, and ready to pick up within 30 days.

  • What to Wear: Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting messy. Short nails and tied-back hair are required.

  • Lunch: Bring a packed lunch or visit nearby Castlefield spots (12-minute walk).
