Our studio membership offers flexible, self-directed access to our fully equipped ceramics studio for £280 per 3-month term. Members enjoy unlimited use of the facilities during open hours – most weekday afternoons and evenings, plus most Saturdays and Sundays.
As a member, you’ll join a supportive creative community and have access to:
Unlimited studio access during open hours
Weekly drop-in sessions with a tutor for technical and creative guidance
Monthly throwing practice sessions hosted by our wheel-throwing tutor
Opportunities to exhibit and sell your work in our regular studio sales
Clay is available to purchase at the studio for £5 per kilo or £50 per 12.5kg bag, which includes all firings and use of house glazes.
This membership is ideal for experienced makers looking for space, support, and a thriving community to grow their practice.
We usually ask that prospective members have at least 3–6 months' experience attending ceramics classes or studying at college/university. This helps ensure everyone can work safely and independently.
Acceptance of members is at 7 Spot Pottery’s discretion, to ensure our studio remains a friendly and inclusive space for all users. We're proud to welcome people from many different backgrounds, including trans & nonbinary folk, people of colour, and a range of ages from 20 to 75. We pride ourselves on being a safe and welcoming space for everyone who wants to work with clay.
Our community pottery is made up of 3 studios, each approx. 1000 sq ft. You're welcome to work in any of them during your session, as long as there is space – no need to book in advance, and no time limits!
