This 2.5 hour session is a perfect introduction to pottery, with one of our friendly and experienced tutors (2 hour activity and 30 minutes clean up)

Due to safety reasons you must wear a mask for the duration of the classes, and bring your own tea towel to save us on laundry!

Wear clothes that you dont mind getting mucky, and ensure that nails are cut short for throwing on the potters wheel.

The theme/content can be agreed beforehand, and these sessions are suitable for all abilities including complete beginners.

Choose from the following style of session:

Pottery taster session: Learn how to make a small handbuilt dish and a pot on the potters wheel. You will be guided through the technique of wheel-thrown pottery and have a go at this challenging but fun technique. 

Potters Wheel Improvers session: If you already have some experience of throwing, we can teach you techniques to improve your skills or tackle a specific area of ceramics that you’d like to learn more about. Please get in touch to discuss.

The session cost includes firing and glazing your pots, which will be ready to collect after 3-4 weeks.

We will email you when your pieces are ready to collect after which you have 1 month to come and collect them.
