We offer quarterly labour exchange memberships for those who may not be able to afford a traditional membership, or want to keep costs down and have time spare during the week.

For 3 hours volunteering a week we offer full studio membership in, exchange for your hard work helping us to keep the studio clean, helping to keep on top of general studio tasks.

This could be day to day things like:

• Cleaning tools, buckets, shelving etc

• Recycling clay

• Loading/unloading kilns

• Glazing taster pots & organising student work

Studio Membership Access

Our studio membership gives you full access to the studio, with unlimited time slots to work on your own projects. Clay and glazes are included.

Studio Hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 1pm–9pm

• Saturday 10am-4pm

• Sunday 10am-7pm

You’ll have a small storage space for your tools and materials, plus one free 12.5kg bag of clay per quarter.

Suitability:

This membership is open to those with previous clay experience who can work independently.
It’s not suitable for beginners, as no tuition is provided.

If you’re still building confidence, we recommend applying after 3–6 months of classes at our studio or elsewhere.

How It Works:

• Labour exchange memberships are offered for 3 months at a time

• You can reapply if you’d like to continue

• This system helps us offer access to more people when needed
