We are a friendly, inclusive studio for all level of artist and potter.
7 Spot is a small, artist-run community ceramics studio located in Ordsall, Salford.
Since opening in April 2017 in a modest 250 sq ft space, 7 Spot has grown and now occupies a 900 sq ft studio inside Makers Quarter, Salford.
As practicing artists, we offer courses and workshops in both functional and sculptural ceramics, drawing on over 30 years of combined experience in teaching art and making ceramics.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive educational environment, welcoming individuals of all skill levels and experiences. We believe in the therapeutic benefits of working with clay, whether for personal enjoyment or professional development.
Our studio is equipped with 2 top-loading kilns, an extruder, a slab roller, and 12 pottery wheels. We prepare our own studio glazes and decorating slips, and we glaze fire to cone 6 oxidation.
